Executive Chef Jeffrey Langer

Lansing Entertainment & Public Facilities Authority is pleased to have Chef Jeffrey Langer as executive chef at Lansing  Center. Langer joined the Lansing Center staff in June 2007 as a sous-chef. He became executive chef in February of 2009.

As executive chef, Langer is responsible for overseeing all kitchen staff, food production and food quality for events catered through Lansing Center. He prides himself on his culinary skills and ability to develop creative, cost-effective catering options.

Langer has worked for such notable places as the Hilton Hotels, River Square Restaurant, Inc (executive sous-chef), Shoppenagan’s Inn in Grayling, Mich. (executive chef) and an the Boathouse Waterfront in Lake Orion, Mich. (executive chef), before relocating to Lansing.
 
Chef Langer is an active member of the American Culinary Federation. In his spare time, he enjoys mentoring students. He is currently the chef chairman of the Culinary Arts program at Howell High School.
